Your family home holds important memories. It can be difficult for many people to leave behind a place where children were raised, the garden was lovingly tended and fond memories were created. But if your family home is no longer meeting your needs, it may be time to move to a more suitable space. As we age, stairs can become problematic, lawns and gardens can become a burden and we may long for a simplified lifestyle.
One of the things we remind our clients is that memories are captured in the mind’s eye rather than in the physical space. Leaving the family home does not erase the memories held dear.
To help capture the memories of the home, we offer a special service in which we make a memory book of the home. We can take pictures prior to the move or use existing pictures of the home and special family events that happened there over the years. The book is printed and bound and can serve as a lovely reminder of times shared there. Ask us about this service.
