What the work looks like

Depending on the role and your training, you may help with:

  • packing and unpacking

  • decluttering and organizing

  • cleaning

  • staging 

  • sorting and documenting household contents

  • move-day support (working alongside movers)

  • basic admin or project support (for some roles)

  • preparing and facilitating auctions 

Typical hours: Weekdays, daytime (generally within 9 –5:00).  Weekend work is required if you are on the auction team (not every weekend.)

Project Assistant/Cleaning Team 

 (with opportunity to advance)

Position Details

• Part-time, casual
• Approximately 20–30 hours per week (no guaranteed hours)
• Schedule is generally Monday to Friday
• Typical working hours are 9:30am – 4:30pm
• You must be available between 8:30am – 5:30pm when scheduled

This role is primarily cleaning-focused, with project assistant duties as required.


About the Role

This is a hands-on, physically active position working in our clients’ homes throughout Greater Victoria.

Our team assists with moves, estate dispersals, and preparing homes for sale. The work includes cleaning, organizing, packing, and helping clients set up their new homes.

You will work under the direction of a Project Manager and as part of a supportive team.


Key Responsibilities

• Packing and unpacking boxes during moves
• Setting up clients’ new homes to mirror their previous layout
• Cleaning, decluttering, and staging homes for sale
• Move-out and pre-sale cleaning
• Sorting and organizing household contents and documents
• Assisting with estate dispersals
• Preparing items for auction and assisting with auction pickup days
• Running occasional errands such as picking up supplies, keys, or equipment
• Maintaining a safe and positive team environment

Important: Household cleaning is a regular and essential part of this role.


Requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
• Ability to transport yourself to job sites
• Clean criminal record check and must be bondable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional, patient, and compassionate with clients
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Interest in home organization or interior design is considered an asset.

Project Manager

Project Managers oversee move management projects, estate dispersals, and auction preparation for our clients.

We are seeking a caring, organized, and conscientious individual who can guide clients through what can often be an emotional transition while managing complex projects and leading a team.


Position Details

• Part-time, casual
• Approximately 20–30 hours per week (no guaranteed hours)
• Schedule is generally Monday to Friday
• Typical working hours are 9:30am – 4:30pm
• You must be available between 8:30am – 5:30pm

Hours vary depending on project schedules. On move days, work may extend into the early evening.

Once fully trained, many Project Managers work close to full-time hours, although schedules vary week to week.


About the Role

Project Managers oversee client projects from start to finish, coordinating staff, managing timelines, and ensuring a smooth experience for our clients.

The role combines organization, leadership, and hands-on work, including packing, sorting, preparing homes for sale, and coordinating third-party services.

Strong people skills are essential, as you will work closely with seniors and their families during important life transitions.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage move management and estate dispersal projects from start to finish
• Lead and coordinate a team of staff on site
• Manage project timelines, staffing, and internal documentation
• Coordinate third-party services such as movers, junk haulers, and cleaners
• Assist clients in sorting and preparing household contents for relocation
• Prepare homes for sale through organizing, decluttering, and staging
• Oversee auction preparation and related logistics
• Participate in packing, unpacking, and project setup when required
• Use company technology systems and apps in daily operations
• Maintain a supportive and professional environment for both staff and clients

Cleaning is a regular part of our projects and is done as a team.
